First Destination: Tathra via Bega Cheese Factory

Woo hoo! I’m very excited about launching this fundraiser and sharing this brilliant website with you all. Thanks for browsing the site, and especially if you’ve chosen to get involved – I look forward to writing to you soon!

My first destination available for postcard request is: Tathra. A beautiful little beach-side town, with a little over 1600 people. As you drive down to the beach, you hear the constant chirp of the whip-birds, which instantly lulls you relaxation-mode. The beach is great for everyone – families, swimmers, surfers, walkers, dogs. You also have the Mimosa Rocks National Park only 5 kms up the road, with multiple walks for all fitness levels (even people like me who hate hills, even after living in Cornwall for 7 months). The pub is also great as they have a deck that overlooks the ocean and is ideal for whale-watching. I’ll also be going via Bega, so am happy to post out any Bega Cheese Factory postcards to fellow cheese-lovers.

If you’d like a postcard from either of these locations please click here or the ‘I want a postcard’ in the menu to your left.
Please make your request by Wednesday 8th of April. There is no phone reception and limited internet there so I won’t be able to check for requests after that date. Many thanks!!
